Hi,
This is a bug and I think I fixed it in the CVS version of the Engine.
Any chance you can grab it and check?
In any case, I just want to remind you that you will not want to return objects by reference anymore with Engine 2 only possibly some other datatypes.

Hi,
I have a Zend 2 question, I my code I return things from functions by reference
e.g.
<?php
function &myFunc(...) {
// .. Code....
return $x;
}
$y =& myFunc(...);
?>
But now I am trying to use Zend 2 version of php I get the following error:
Fatal error: Can't use function return value in write context in /scriptname on
line x
where x is the line of the actual function call.
Has the syntax been changed for returning by reference or is this a bug?
Cheers
Tom
