Hi Derick,
In my original post I suggested something like this for the php.ini:
error_doc_base=http://php.net/manual/en/
error_doc_suffix=.php
; and this is a new addition
error_doc_target=_blank
So it's really very simple and shouldn't need any magic other than that!
