Hey List,
Since I've got a *lot* of scripts that use mysql_db_query(), I did some
digging as to why this function is marked as deprecated in the manual. I
came across this thread:

In summary some wanted to have it throw a warning in 4.1 and be nuked by
now...obviously this hasn't happened.
Personally I would like to see it stay, but more than that I would like a
decsion on this so I can be prepared.
