Apache 2.0 Filter SAPI and error_log()

I just noticed that when using error_log() in a Apache 2.0 Filter
environment error.log entries are not prefixed with a "stamp" like
[Mon Aug 26 18:33:13 2002] [error] [client 192.168.0.1] ... text ...
