Can someone change this bug back to the domxml category. This bug is still a problem under windows and at least apache 1.3.x (not just apache2). behavior is not the same as apache2 but still does not path correctly. The root of the problem is the same as the cause of bug 17779. I have a patch to fix 17390 (dump_file doesn't work if path is not absolute), but am not sure about implementing it as bug 17779 may not be able to be fixed (see comments for bug 17779) and I am not sure if it is wise to have the file pathing inconsistent for certain parts of the domxml extension. It would work if filename is passed in as a parameter, but any filenames (unless absolute) referenced in a DTD would not work correctly. What is the norm for a scenario like this? Leave it as is with a note in documentation to use absolute paths or fix part of it and indicate when an absolute path would be needed when using the extension? Rob
