I get the following
...
checking for dlopen in -ldl... yes
...
checking for dlopen in -ldl... yes
...
checking for dlopen... yes
...
checking for dlopen in -ldl... (cached) yes
checking for dlopen... (cached) yes
...
So it uses the cached value sometimes.
