Btw, there was a bug report which looked like the rewriter does not reset its state variables correctly. It is very likely that these issues are connected. This is not a new problem and it troubles me that it was not discovered and fixed earlier. If noone beats me to it, I'll have a look at this in the next few days. - Sascha
