PHP4 Bug #1788: Can't build the configure script

From: mlemos@acm.org Operating system: Linux RH 5.2 PHP version: 4.0 Latest CVS (21/07/1999) PHP Bug Type: Compile Failure Bug description: Can't build the configure script I have just tried to build PHP 4 retrieving the files from the CVS repository. I tried to do autoconf but it seems that there is no configure.in but configure.in.in. I tried doing autoconf configure.in.in but I got the following errors. I am using autoconf 2.14.1 but I have already tried version 2.13.
