Ok, this problem was fairly easy to solve as I in fact forgot to run
./buildconf. But now the next one occurs:
"make" fails with:
l_functions_cli.lo -lmysqlclient -lcrypt -lresolv -lm -ldl -lnsl -lcrypt -ldl -o sapi/cli/php
/usr/bin/ld: cannot find -lz
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
make: *** [sapi/cli/php] Error 1
What's wrong there? The system is Debian Woody, Kernel 2.4.18 and I'm
using Debian's precompiled MySQL 3.23.52.
