PHP version: 4.0 Beta 1
PHP Bug Type: Compile Failure
Bug description: Cannot compile Apache 1.3.6 (cannot find mysqlclient in src/main/Makefile)
PHP4.0b1 has been compiled with:
--with-mysql=/usr/local/mysql (it's the directory where I have installed mysql-3.22.25)
--with-apache=/usr/local/src/apache
and some smaller things...
The problem is that there's -lmysqlclient in the LIBS1 variable in the apache/src/main/Makefile
where obviously there's not need to include it... (there's no program that use mysqlclient
in that directory)...
Unfortunately the common Makefile (included in any subfolder) contains those LIBS includes...
