glibc iconv translit'ed like below: ---------- "Hello" 'Hello' ,,Hello" ,Hello' "Hello" 'Hello' ,,Hello" ,Hello' ---------- How can we do with this result? IMO transliteration is very implementation specific feature, and further tests may make no sense as long as doing the same ones with the different libraries. Adding constants like ICONV_IMPL and ICONV_VERSION that imply the variety of libraries looks enough cool?Yes. Sounds like the best way to do it. We do need 'some' mechanism to test if it works. Test can then be expanded to whatever implementation arrises. Shall we make the description GNU Libiconv blabla ? When the ICONV_ constants are available, we can SKIP it when non-gnu is detected.
