PHP Bug Type: Compile Failure
Bug description: Compilation fails with regex.h errors
I encountered the same compilation error as Bug id #1772.
However, my configure line was
./configure --with-mysql --with-apache=../apache_1.3.6 --enable-track-vars
The compiler was egcs-2.91.66. During configure I encountered two failed bison version detections
and one failed test statement.
(checking bison version... bison: unrecognized option `--'
bison: unrecognized option `-e'
bison: unrecognized option `-r' etc.)
and
./configure: test: integer expression expected before -lt
(bison --version gives: GNU Bison version 1.27)
