Bug description: function missing?
I used the following script...
function gettext($id){
$site = localhost;
$username = anyone;
$password = 'anything';
$dbName = anyDB;
mysql_connect($site, $username, $password);
$query2 = "SELECT text FROM content WHERE id = '$id'";
$result = MYSQL($dbName, $query2);
$text = MYSQL_RESULT($result, $row, "text");
$text = strip_tags($text);
$text = substr($text, 22, 75);
return $text;
}
and the function strip_tags does not work. It appears that it hasn't been declared in php 4.0
I'm using php 4.0 b1 with mysql and gd support. The docs said that short_tags
wasn't available in this version, but strip_tags doesn't
work either.
