Operating system: redhat linux 6.0
PHP version: 4.0 Beta 1
PHP Bug Type: Misbehaving function
Bug description: scripts halt when imap_header is used
Basic Decsription:
All of my scripts using the imap_header funtion stopped executing when I upgraded to php4, but other
imap functions seem OK.
Info:
Assuming a mailbox in imap has a few messages, the following script prints "This should
print" on my PHP3 setup. However, under PHP4, it gives the browser error: "This document
contained no data, (etc)".
Script:
<?php {
$stream = imap_open ("{hostname:143}INBOX" , "userid", "password");
$header = imap_header ($stream, 1);
print "This should print";
} ?>
Modules:
I compiled using the imap, ldap, and xml modules.
Notes:
ldap and xml are working great ! I can't wait to get the imap stuff working so I can check out
the improved performace of PHP.
