Hello!
I've been trying to use the go-pear WebInstaller with some lack of success.
On Win2k running php 4.2.2 I get the folowing:
Downloading package: PEAR.............ok
Downloading package: Archive_Tar......ok
Downloading package: Console_Getopt....ok
Downloading package: XML_RPC..........ok
Downloading package: Pager............ok
Downloading package: HTML_Template_IT....ok
Downloading package: Net_UserAgent_Detect....ok
Downloading package: PEAR_Frontend_Web....ok
Bootstrapping: PEAR...................ok
Bootstrapping: Archive_Tar............ok
Bootstrapping: Console_Getopt.........ok
Downloading package: DB...............ok
Downloading package: Net_Socket.......ok
Downloading package: Net_SMTP.........ok
Downloading package: Mail.............ok
Downloading package: XML_Parser.......ok
Extracting installer..................
Invalid checksum : 40057 calculated, 0 expected
And then I get some unlink() failed messages.
Besides this, it looks like a really great little thing!
Btw, the action in the "Install" form does not work in Opera (v 6.04).
Using <?= $_SERVER['PHP_SELF'] ?> instead of <?php basename(__FILE__);?>
does the job.
If I'm missing out on something, please - let me know! :-)
Regards,
Nils-Fredrik G. Kaland
