I don't think that is a good idea. Just removing ldap_free_entry() should
be enough. (Which I already did).
If I have:
$result = ldap_search($ds, $dn, "cn=*Smith*");
blah blah
$result = ldap_search($ds, $dn, "cn=*Jones*");
blah blah
Then I potentially have two very large memory chunks allocated. It would
be nice to keep the user-level ldap_free_result() function so this memory
can be reclaimed before my second search and thus keep the runtime memory
use of the script low.
