For now I think it's very wise to remove all the e*() memory functions
from the branch, it's not strictly needed and we need to be very careful
not to emalloc data that should be preserved accross requests. That's
why I've a patch read to remove the e*() stuff for the branch so that we
have a lot of time for the 4.4/5.0 version to check all these things
out.
