PHP Bug Type: Misbehaving function
Bug description: unpack and pack do not support all perl packing types e.g. "u"
using pack:
packed_string = pack("u","The result should be uuencoded");
The above does not work as "u" is not an option in pack. It is however an option in perl.
The documentation for pack and unpack claim that PHP supports all perl options for these functions.
It doesn't appear to work for me.
