Can some of the multilanguage/RFC whizes (Jaako - are you listening?:)
take a look at this bug please? I'm not into any of the extended
characters stuff, I'm fairly sure there's nothing related to that in the
MySQL module, and it's prbable that this bug has to be reassigned to some
place else...
