From: niks@siton.org.yu Operating system: Linux PHP version: 3.0.11 PHP Bug Type: Performance problem Bug description: Problem with php3 script not stoping after stop button I use PHP3 to write small WEB based chat system based on MSql database. I have two frames, and one of frames is feed by PHP3 that is running all the time. Every 3 sec. it is checking database. I use ignore_user_abort() so that I can control which user is connected to chat room. After pressing STOP button in browser, PHP3 script did not change status to ABORT, it is always NORMAL. The same thing happend without ignore_user_abort() command. The script just query database every 3 secs even when I close the browser complitly.
