news.php.net -> mailing list gateway broken?

Hi, I'm using <nntp://news.php.net> to post to the php-dev mailing list - at least I hoped so. My (very few) articles show up nicely on <http://news.php.net> and on <http://groups.google.com>, but in the mailing list archives they end up with just an IP address as From: address (see e.g. <http://marc.theaimsgroup.com/?l=php-dev&m=104712105011151&w=2>). I suspect that this sort of From: is dropped right on the floor by the mailing list software. So I subscribed to the real mailing list, and now send this article as a test. Regards... Michael
