What is the proper or polite way to handle getting that bug transferred over to 4.0? Should the person that made the fix in 3.0 apply (and presumably test) it, or should I make the change myself? I quite happily don't have a Windows box to test the change on. The change appears to be rather straightforward and I think that I could get it right...
