My bug report nr 943 is closed with the note to try PHP 3.0.8. Now i tried: Solaris INTEL 2.6 Oracle 8.0.5 INTEL PHP 3.0.12 Apache 1.3.6 When i run the ./configure from the apache dir i get following: Configuring for Apache, Version 1.3.6 + using installation path layout: Apache (config.layout) + activated php3 module (modules/php3/libphp3.a) Creating Makefile Creating Configuration.apaci in src Creating Makefile in src + configured for Solaris 260 platform + setting C compiler to gcc + setting C pre-processor to gcc -E + checking for system header files + adding selected modules o php3_module uses ConfigStart/End Undefined first referenced symbol in file sntpinherit /u01/app/oracle/product/8.0.5./lib/libclntsh.so ncrfiv /u01/app/oracle/product/8.0.5./lib/libclntsh.so nttini /u01/app/oracle/product/8.0.5./lib/libclntsh.so sntpgg /u01/app/oracle/product/8.0.5./lib/libclntsh.so ntusini /u01/app/oracle/product/8.0.5./lib/libclntsh.so sntpmoredata /u01/app/oracle/product/8.0.5./lib/libclntsh.so sntpwru /u01/app/oracle/product/8.0.5./lib/libclntsh.so sntpud /u01/app/oracle/product/8.0.5./lib/libclntsh.so sntpread /u01/app/oracle/product/8.0.5./lib/libclntsh.so osncon /u01/app/oracle/product/8.0.5./lib/libclntsh.so sntpclose /u01/app/oracle/product/8.0.5./lib/libclntsh.so niqname /u01/app/oracle/product/8.0.5./lib/libclntsh.so sntpmwr /u01/app/oracle/product/8.0.5./lib/libclntsh.so sntpwrite /u01/app/oracle/product/8.0.5./lib/libclntsh.so sntprdu /u01/app/oracle/product/8.0.5./lib/libclntsh.so sntpcall /u01/app/oracle/product/8.0.5./lib/libclntsh.so sntpmrd /u01/app/oracle/product/8.0.5./lib/libclntsh.so sntpfcntl /u01/app/oracle/product/8.0.5./lib/libclntsh.so ld: fatal: Symbol referencing errors.
