PHP Bug Type: Compile Failure
Bug description: PHP won't compile with GD 1.6.3
PHP 4.0b2 will not compile with GD 1.6.3.
The reason for this is that GD doesn't support Gif image types anymore. However, PHP tries to
access these GIF-functions that used to be there in older versions of the library.
