This bug has been fixed in the documentation's XML sources. Since the
online and downloadable versions of the documentation need some time
to get updated, we would like to ask you to be a bit patient.
Thank you for the report, and for helping us make our documentation better.
Thanks for the headsup!
Looks like someone mistakenly "fixed" that example last year :(

I'm not sure that they are actually mixed up, since we know who wrote the example assigning the
bug to them.

Description:
------------
The example on the manual page for ErrorException passes the error severity ($errno) to $code
instead of $severity.
http://php.net/manual/en/class.errorexception.php
Expected result:
----------------
function exception_error_handler($errno, $errstr, $errfile, $errline ) {
throw new ErrorException($errstr, 0, $errno, $errfile, $errline);
}
Actual result:
--------------
function exception_error_handler($errno, $errstr, $errfile, $errline ) {
throw new ErrorException($errstr, $errno, 0, $errfile, $errline);
}
