Summary: filter_input does not document FILTER_DEFAULT
Status: Open
Type: Documentation Problem
Package: Documentation problem
PHP Version: Irrelevant
Block user comment: N
Private report: N
New Comment:
According to the source, it's defined to be equal to FILTER_UNSAFE_RAW:
http://lxr.php.net/xref/PHP_TRUNK/ext/filter/filter_private.h#71
To avoid confusion, perhaps the documentation should use the actual filter name that will be applied
by default.

Description:
------------

From manual page: http://www.php.net/function.filter-input
---
There is no documentation what the default filter FILTER_DEFAULT does, nor is it mentioned on the
referenced list of available filters.
