I hope too! its much better than html for me :)
i also noticed that in the currently online copy some section are
missing in the left summary tree, although the pages are there (you can
find them with "find")
eg:
LII. gnupg Functions
LIII. Net_Gopher
LIV. Haru PDF Functions
LV. hash Functions

Any PHP manual in CHM format is not updated. The date of the creation
of the files is December 2007. I hope that support the format CHM not
end.
