Thanks for the pointer to that intro text. I would have thought it to
the be on the pattern syntax page as it states on the intro page, but in
any case I will point users to
http://www.php.net/manual/en/intro.pcre.php
instead.

It's all there... but better organized in en/. The hk/ uses the old
style still (it has not updated since the restructure)...

Note the discussion of PCRE pattern delimiters on this version of the
PCRE documentation:
http://us3.php.net/manual/hk/ref.pcre.php
Yet it is missing from the english version of the documentation:
http://us3.php.net/manual/en/ref.pcre.php
I see this question about delimiters frequently in regex forums so if
the delmiter details could be added to the english page I would
appreciate it so I could tell users to reference that page.
