This bug has been fixed in the documentation's XML sources. Since the
online and downloadable versions of the documentation need some time
to get updated, we would like to ask you to be a bit patient.

Thanks for the patch! I just checked \g'name' and that can be used too. I got the same
results by checking the link you provided (PHP==4.4.9 and PHP>=5.2.7).
