Oh wow, I had no idea class names are case insensitive. I agree that using the same case is a good
idea in the context of documentation like this, but also, thank you very much for your quick and
informative response.

This bug has been fixed in the documentation's XML sources. Since the
online and downloadable versions of the documentation need some time
to get updated, we would like to ask you to be a bit patient.

Either
new foo as well as new Foo is valid, because class
names are case-insensitive. However, I agree that new Foo is
better suited for an example in the documentation at least.

In "Example #2 Method Declaration," almost at the end:
$myFoo = new foo();
The class definition is class Foo extends Bar, so I think this line should say Foo with a capital F:
$myFoo = new Foo();
