SPL is thoroughly documented (including ArrayIterator constructor) at
http://www.php.net/~helly/php/ext/spl/ which is
linked from the manual.

The documentation of the __construct() method (or any hint, that the
constructor should not be used directly) from the ArrayIterator class is
missing.
This works:
var_dump(new ArrayIterator(array(1,2,3,4)));
