Previous Comments: ------------------------------------------------------------------------ [2016-12-21 11:54:53] f dot meurer at meurologic dot de Right, did not look at the quotes cause i didn't expect that. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ [2016-12-21 11:38:57] cmb@php.net Well, the example is basically correct, see <https://3v4l.org/ne0au>. Note that $string3 is assigned a *single*-quoted string literal. However, in my opinion the wording of the example's output needs improvement. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ [2016-12-21 10:41:03] f dot meurer at meurologic dot de Description: ------------ --- From manual page: http://www.php.net/function.ctype-space --- There is an error in the docu in the example. http://php.net/manual/de/function.ctype-space.php 'string3' => '\n\r\t' should show 'The string 'string3' consists of all whitespace characters.' Expected result: ---------------- 'string3' => '\n\r\t' should show 'The string 'string3' consists of all whitespace characters.' ------------------------------------------------------------------------ -- Edit this bug report at https://bugs.php.net/bug.php?id=73798&edit=1
