1.15 is greater than 1.4, so 1.4+ is an appropriate description.

Description:

I'm currently in the process of compiling php for obscure reasons not relevant here and I note
that the INSTALL document state [here](https://github.com/php/php-src/blob/master/INSTALL#L145):
> automake 1.4+.
That wouldn't be a big deal if such a version was already released but it seems the latest
version is 1.15 as state on the official repo for automake http://git.savannah.gnu.org/cgit/automake.git/refs/
Did you made a typo writing 1.4+ instead of 1.14+?
