From: sand_groper80 at hotmail dot com Operating system: windows 10 PHP version: 7.2.1 Package: PHP options/info functions Bug Type: Documentation Problem Bug description:Misleading php.ini entry for extensions Description: ------------ The sample php.ini files show these lines ; Directory in which the loadable extensions (modules) reside. ; http://php.net/extension-dir ; extension_dir = "./" ; On windows: ; extension_dir = "ext" This led me to try extension_dir = "c:\php\ext" - which of course did not work!! It took several hours to realise that correct is extension_dir = c:\php\ext ie no quotes - which all worked.
