I'd say âConvert HTML entities to their corresponding charactersâ is better in this
case.

What about âConvert all applicable HTML entities to their
(corresponding) charactersâ or maybe âConvert HTML entities to
their corresponding charactersâ? After all, html_entity_decode()
does not necessarily convert *all* HTML entities.

Description:
------------
in the function description "Convert all HTML entities to their applicable characters"
suggests that no characters could be applicable (or multiple), In my opinion "Convert all HTML
entities to their corresponding characters" would be better, since all HTML entities have
exactly one character they represent
