The short php.net/NAME convenience URL prioritizes "book" pages over "function" pages. The same thing happens with php.net/hash and I think another one. If you're typing the short URL yourself you can use the "function." prefix like php.net/function.hrtime. 2/3. php.net/book.hrtime is for the HRTime PECL extension. You can search for it on the page search box and find it easily, but 1) http://php.net/hrtime leads to the "book hrtime" page. I somewhat expect it to lead to the function instead (maybe just because I more often search for functions via the URL) 2) hrtime() is not mentioned on the "book hrtime" page 3) hrtime() is sorted under misc functions. Maybe it should be moved to "book hrtime". On the other hand, sleep(), usleep() et al are sorted under misc functions.
