Edit report at https://bugs.php.net/bug.php?id=77798&edit=1 ID: 77798 Updated by: girgias@php.net Reported by: php at hatlak dot de -Summary: No mention of json_decode options availability +Summary: No mention of json_(encode|decode) constant options availability -Status: Open +Status: Verified Type: Documentation Problem -Package: Documentation problem +Package: JSON related -PHP Version: 7.1.27 +PHP Version: Irrelevant Block user comment: N Private report: N New Comment: Not sure what is the best approach to fix this, maybe a mention of checking the constant page for availability seems like a reasonable way to fix this. Previous Comments: ------------------------------------------------------------------------ [2019-03-26 14:05:25] php at hatlak dot de Description: ------------ --- From manual page: https://php.net/function.json-decode --- Tried to use JSON_THROW_ON_ERROR with PHP 7.1. Only checked the Predefined Constants page once I got an error. The json_decode page should not just list available options constants as if it was independent from the PHP version used. Oh, and unrelated: The !"()/& bug report form kills the PHP version and summary once it displays WARNING: YOU MUST RE-UPLOAD YOUR PATCH, OR IT WILL BE IGNORED! Just noticed before blindly clicking "Send bug report" again as suggested. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ -- Edit this bug report at https://bugs.php.net/bug.php?id=77798&edit=1
