This bug has been fixed in the documentation's XML sources. Since the
online and downloadable versions of the documentation need some time
to get updated, we would like to ask you to be a bit patient.

The documentation indicates that the function SoapServer::setObject is
available in versions greater then or equal to 5.0.1, however it was
only added to 5.2.0 as indicated in the change log:
http://www.php.net/ChangeLog-5.php#5.2.0
I have verified it is not available on 5.1.6 from the CentOS 5.2
repository.
