./configure --disable-url-fopen-wrapper:
"Notice: Following unknown configure options were used:
--disable-url-fopen-wrapper"
http://php.net/manual/en/configure.php#configure.disable-url-fopen-wrapper:
"--disable-url-fopen-wrapper
Disable the URL-aware fopen wrapper that allows accessing files via
HTTP or FTP."
It seems that this option is no longer applicable, but docs say nothing
about it.
Expected result:

Either remove the message from configure, either document that option
is not applicable to v5.2.5 and higher.
