This bug has been fixed in the documentation's XML sources. Since the
online and downloadable versions of the documentation need some time
to get updated, we would like to ask you to be a bit patient.

According to http://us.php.net/manual/en/datetime.modify.php,
DateTime::modify() returns a modified DateTime. I believe I've read that
this method returns DateTime object only starting with PHP 5.3. However,
it is certain that it returns nothing prior to this version.
