This bug has been fixed in the documentation's XML sources. Since the
online and downloadable versions of the documentation need some time
to get updated, we would like to ask you to be a bit patient.

Since PHP 5.2.5, you can use the escape
sequences \v and \f in double quoted and heredoc strings.
Please add also a note, that this new features can break existing
scripts.
