Currently the limit parameter provides different output for explode and
preg_split() (http://bugs.php.net/bug.php?id=47560 and
http://bugs.php.net/bug.php?id=48704)

Description:
------------
On the function reference for preg_split, the limit option does not
specify that the last element contains the remaining string. Compare
with the split documentation, which does clearly state this and whose
behaviour seems identical.
