#49082 [NEW]: What References Are - not C pointers
From: allyourcode at gmail dot com
Operating system:
PHP version: Irrelevant
PHP Bug Type: Documentation problem
Bug description: What References Are - not C pointers
Description:
------------
http://us2.php.net/manual/en/language.references.whatare.php
This page mentions that references are not like C pointers, but after
reading the entire page, I still have no idea why the comparison isn't a
good one. There should be further explanation; otherwise, that statement
should be removed, because it's confusing.
Reproduce code:

From manual page: language.references.whatare
