ID: 30185 Updated by: philip@php.net Reported By: sigsby at mopo3 dot com -Status: Verified +Status: Closed Bug Type: Documentation problem Operating System: Irrelevant PHP Version: Irrelevant New Comment: All of SPL is now [at least lightly] documented. Previous Comments: ------------------------------------------------------------------------ [2009-10-18 11:35:57] salathe@php.net Just as a status update for this bug, (I believe) all of SPL now has at least "skeleton" documentation even if there is still a fair chunk that needs to be fully documented. As usual, additional volunteers would be more than welcome to tackle this (gradually shrinking) mountain of a task. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ [2008-11-12 17:28:02] philip@php.net A small update. Etienne has been adding some documentation and the new link is here: http://php.net/book.spl However, additional volunteers are needed for this daunting task. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ [2007-02-26 09:36:08] philip@php.net SPL is in the documentation here: http://php.net/ref.spl But most methods are undocumented (only the skeletons exist ) and some aren't in phpdoc CVS at all. This bug is a request to finish the SPL documentation. Source files can be seen here: http://cvs.php.net/viewvc.cgi/phpdoc/en/reference/spl/ ------------------------------------------------------------------------ [2006-03-11 17:00:12] gavin dot phpdoc at mac dot com The last comment is quite old: is the plan still to incorporate http://www.php.net/~helly/php/ext/spl/ into an Appendix? ------------------------------------------------------------------------ [2005-04-05 17:08:37] vrana@php.net Documentation is available at http://www.php.net/~helly/php/ext/spl/ , it should be probably incorporated to the manual. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ The remainder of the comments for this report are too long.
