This bug has been fixed in SVN.

In the documentation for exit(), section "Parameters":
"If status is an integer, that value will also be used as the exit
status."
This should read:
"If status is an integer, that value will be used as the exit status."
It will not "also" be used, it will exclusively be used for the exit
status and
not print anything to screen.
