This bug has been fixed in the documentation's XML sources. Since the
online and downloadable versions of the documentation need some time
to get updated, we would like to ask you to be a bit patient.
Thank you for the report, and for helping us make our documentation
better.

Description:
------------
The description of filetype() on
http://www.php.net/manual/en/function.filetype.php
(and http://www.php.net/manual/de/function.filetype.php)
says:
"Returns the type of the file. Possible values are fifo, char, dir,
block, link, file, and unknown."
My PHP (5.2.0-8+etch7) returns "socket" for sockets (which is fine) but
that's not listed.
