@calvin I used the link in the bug's description, so I assume it was the
correct URL.
What I see under the "The above example will output:" line is the rest
of the page. Output, "See also", and "Notes" sections.

I haven't yet read the email you sent to the list, but I'll get it
sorted out during the day.

For what it's worth, even when a couple of people were having issues
last night, I couldn't reproduce it, so whatever it is, it doesn't
seem to bite everyone.
At any rate, I've posted a note about this on the Webmaster mailing
list, so hopefully it'll be sorted out soon.
I don't think we do any particularly clever DNS-level geolocation,
but our systems team would know for sure.

@aharvey,
Yea, I just realized that if I replace "us3" with "us2" it works fine
and everything loads immediately. So I guess that's an easy workaround
for now.
@Niel,
Are you using the us3.php.net link? And what do you see under the "The
above example will output:" line? I just reloaded the page, and it's
still doing the same thing. It gets to that point and then the page
stops loading--the status bar still says "Waiting for us3.php.net..."
for another minute or two, but no more data gets sent from the server.
Are *.php.net subdomains routed to different mirrors depending on your
geographical location? Because I'm in the U.S. (west coast).

works fine for me
