Edit report at http://bugs.php.net/bug.php?id=52680&edit=1 ID: 52680 Updated by: salathe@php.net Reported by: logan at logansbailey dot com Summary: Documentation examples uses a deprecated function -Status: Open +Status: Closed Type: Documentation Problem Package: Documentation problem Operating System: Linux PHP Version: 5.2.14 -Assigned To: +Assigned To: salathe Block user comment: N New Comment: This bug has been fixed in the documentation's XML sources. Since the online and downloadable versions of the documentation need some time to get updated, we would like to ask you to be a bit patient. Thank you for the report, and for helping us make our documentation better. Explode would have been a better alternative to split. However, I've made the example more clear by using an array of arrays... no need for splitting/exploding. Thanks for your report. Relying on this feature is highly discouraged.". Maybe explode would be a better suited function call for the example. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ -- Edit this bug report at http://bugs.php.net/bug.php?id=52680&edit=1
