New Comment:
Changing this bug. I no longer see the file() link but all of the finfo
documentation should better explain the oop/procedural differences.

Description:
------------
http://de3.php.net/manual/en/function.finfo-file.php
currently reads:
----------------------------------------
Description
string finfo_file ( resource $finfo , string $file_name = NULL [, int
$options = FILEINFO_NONE [, resource $context = NULL ]] )
finfo
string file ( string $file_name = NULL [, int $options =
FILEINFO_NONE [, resource $context = NULL ]] )
----------------------------------------
Where file is a hyperlink to the PHP file() function. It was not quite
clear to me what this syntax description of a file() function was trying
to tell me until I came across
http://de3.php.net/manual/en/function.finfo-open.php
which clearly
describes the first as "procedural style" and the second as "object
oriented style:".
Maybe that can be done for the other functions, too.
