Edit report at http://bugs.php.net/bug.php?id=54777&edit=1 ID: 54777 Updated by: salathe@php.net Reported by: gwarnants at gmail dot com Summary: Bad variable argument list in ibase_execute -Status: Open +Status: Wont fix Type: Documentation Problem Package: Documentation problem PHP Version: Irrelevant -Assigned To: +Assigned To: salathe Block user comment: N Private report: N New Comment: The current prototype makes it clear that $... means more $bind_arg's. Previous Comments: ------------------------------------------------------------------------ [2011-05-17 11:08:47] gwarnants at gmail dot com Description: ------------ --- From manual page: http://www.php.net/function.ibase-execute#Description --- I think variable argument list of ibase_execute() function could be rewritten in a more conveniant way, like any other similar function does (ie: array_map). Duplicating an optional parameter and "..." should be avoided because it is a redondant information. Regards, Geoffray Expected result: ---------------- resource ibase_execute ( resource $query [, mixed $... ] ) Actual result: -------------- resource ibase_execute ( resource $query [, mixed $bind_arg [, mixed $... ]] ) ------------------------------------------------------------------------ -- Edit this bug report at http://bugs.php.net/bug.php?id=54777&edit=1
